A stabilized, modified acrylic copolymer giving high mechanical strength and chemical resistance to cementit ious mixes. Classic Acryfix SB has been specially developed as an admixture for cementbased building materials. It is designed to improve the physical, echanical and chemical resistance properties both in the fresh and hardened state. Classic Acryfix SB has a strong plasticizing effect on c ementitiou s mixes, thereby allowing a reduction in water: cement ratio which results in reduced permeabilit y of the hardened materials. Classic Acryfix SB gives good early strength d evelopmen t, and improved flexural, compressiv e and adhesive strengths. Use of primer coat of cement slurry containing Classic Acryfix SB is an excellent method of achieving superior adhesive bond strengths.
